C is for Chartreuse

My juice pitcher was full to the max with this recipe.  It was my dinner last night, but I couldn't finish the last 6 or 8 ounces.  My husband took care of the rest.  It was sweet and light, with a hint of pepper.  I find that peaches pair well with peppers.  P.S.  I've never had juice this color before.

Tastes Great, and Filling:
1 yellow bell pepper
1 zucchini
1 cucumber
1 c. iceberg lettuce
3 celery stalks
2 peaches
3 oranges

I believe the word for this is "chartreuse".

Strawberry-Tomato-Carrot Juice

In attempt to fend off this cold that my kids keep trying to give me by sneezing on me and wiping their noses on me, I made this vitamin C juice today for lunch.  It's excellent; a little sour and carrot-y, but very satisfying!

Drink Your Vitamins:
1 c. strawberries
1 c. cherry tomatoes
6 carrots
5 stalks celery
1 c. spinach
1 c. green leaf lettuce
3 small apples
1 lemon
Remedy your "cold" vacation.
